Full Time Nanny, Lower Earley (35hrs per week) Starting M

 Warm and loving family in Lower Earley are searching for a nanny to look after their 1-year-old daughter. The position is for 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) from 9am until 4pm starting from the 19th May 2025 until the beginning of August 2025. After August, the hours will reduce to approximately 2 days so this position can either be short term or continued with lower hours. 

The family are looking for someone who is nurturing, kind, and caring, who has an affinity for working with children and is passionate about child development. Someone who is calming, patient and has a strong understanding of milestones. The ideal candidate may not have worked as a nanny or have formal qualifications but experience working with children in another capacity would be advantageous. 

A point of note is that the family do work from home, but they will not interfere with the role of the nanny throughout the day and will only offer support if requested. 

Duties will include nursery duties, providing a safe, encouraging, and supportive environment for their daughter and meeting her needs in a responsible and appropriate manner. There are no cooking or cleaning duties involved and the primary focus will be on childcare. 

The salary for this position ranges from £15/hr gross depending on experience. 

Unfortunately, a nanny with their own child would not be suitable for this role. 

A driver is not necessary as everything is within walking distance of the home.

Lovely family located in the picturesque market town of Henley-on-Thames are looking for a local part-time permanent nanny to look after their 3 children aged 7, 4½ and 2½.

This position is starting as soon as possible but the family are willing to wait for the right person.

The family would love to find someone who is nurturing, calming and friendly but who also takes a firm but fair approach.  It is paramount that the nanny can set and keep healthy, appropriate and strong boundaries with the children.   Someone with excellent organisational and multitasking skills with an ability to understand and anticipate the needs of three different aged children would be the ideal person for this position.

Duties will include light housekeeping including laundry, school and club pick-ups and drop offs, healthy meal preparation and dinner serving, encouraging reading, homework help and other activities that aid developmental growth and mostly ensuring that all children feel safe, cared for and happy and that their needs are appropriately met.

A driver is not essential for this role as all locations that the children need access to are within walking distance.

Busy and caring family in Wokingham Town Centre are looking for some assistance on Fridays (and Mondays if available) during term time only.  The hours are 7:30 am - 9:30 am (with the potential for ad hoc hours during the week). This position is starting as soon as possible but the family are willing to wait for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the school run and providing support during the morning routine
• Providing care and supervision for three children, with occasional support from parents or current nanny
• Understanding and someone who understands the needs of children with Autism, PDA, and Global Developmental Delay.
• Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
• Valid first aid qualification
• Previous experience and references working with children, preferably with SEN experience
• Clean driving license with business insurance (preferred)
• OFSTED registration (preferred)

• Natural affinity with children
• Ability to work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers
• Flexibility and reliability

The hourly rate is dependent on experience, employment status, driving status, and OFSTED registration.
